Planned in an area of approximately 157 acres the Reserve Battalion and Sector Head Quarter for CISF is located at Dhurva, Ranchi. The site has access from a road touching the site on its shorter yet at a higher point which gradually goes on to terminate at a level about 7 mt down in the rear position.

The peculiar feature of the site being 7 electric high tension  lines passing through the site due to a sub-station grid station abutting it.

Master Plan of the Campus

The road pattern of the layout plan is the outcome of Irregular shaped land profile, contoured site and HT lines yet having achieved the desired level of space efficiency through the planning.

Buildings that have been planned in the campus include Administrative block, Offices and Sub-Ordinate Offices, Messes, Recreation Facilities, Training Areas, Firing Range, Parade Ground and Stadium with Fort Wall etc besides Residential setup like family quarters of all types and single living barracks. among the amenities are Shopping Centre, Swimming Pool and Hospital etc.
